TRANSPORT & CONTACT
Transport arrangements to be determined by participating groups.
Youth cannot travel with p-plate drivers without prior parental permission in writing for both driver and passenger. Permission requests to section leader (if attending) or otherwise the event coordinator (John Eiseman).

Activity cost
Gold coin contribution to drinks. Other food will be surplus from previous events.
Restrictions on attendees
Participants are required to stay for the entire event unless arrangements are discussed with, and approved by, their section leader or the event supervisor.
HEALTH, SAFETY & HYGIENE
Health and safety
All participants must wear enclosed shoes when canoeing including when entering and leaving the water. Bring a change of footwear for travel.
Participants should not attend if they are unwell or showing symptoms of illness.
BEHAVIOUR & PARTICIPATION EXPECTATIONS
Behaviour standards
All participants are expected to behave responsibly and respectfully at all times, in accordance with the Scouts Code of Conduct, the Scout Promise and Law, and relevant federal and state laws.
Participants may be sent home in the case of non-compliance with the expected standards of behavior.
EQUIPMENT & CLOTHING
Participants must bring
Swimmers, shoes that can get wet and muddy, towel, change of clothing and footwear for travel. PFDs will be provided and it is mandatory for these to be worn in and on the water.
Responsibility for personal items is the sole responsibility of the participant and/or their parent/guardian. Under no circumstances will leaders be responsible for safe keeping, loss or damage to items.
Arrival and departure instructions
2nd Orange meet at hall at 1700. Return estimate 2115. 3rd Orange and 3rd Bathurst similar timeframe. Check with your section leader.
WITHDRAWAL & REFUND POLICY
Please advise the activity co-ordinator if you are unable to attend on the day, if you are aware of this before the event day, please withdraw from this event by using the withdraw feature.
