Activity overview
Remote site camping and hiking. This is not the typical Warrumbungle experience as we will be located in the south well away from the main facilities and well known landmarks. The campground has pit toilets. No reliable water supply. We will do both tracked and off-track walking. Accessed from Tooraweenah. 4WD access from a locked gate.

Activity cost
Fuel & NP entry: $50 pp

Food: $40 (inclusive Friday evening to Sunday lunch) - to be confirmed.

You will be invoiced prior to the event and payment expected prior to departure.

ACTIVITY DETAILS

• Depart 2nd Orange Hall Friday after school
• Picnic in park on route (via Wellington, Mendooran & Tooraweenah)
• ETA campsite 20:30
• Saturday hike Burbie fire trail etc to Mt Exmouth summit (long day)
• Sunday off-track hike to base of Tonduron Spire
• Depart for home 14:30ish
• Return to include McDonalds Stop in Wellington (youth to have own funds for this)

BEHAVIOUR & PARTICIPATION EXPECTATIONS

Behaviour standards
This event will be using the buddy system. Participants are required to stay with the group, with the exception of needing to use amentiies or similar. In these situations, they must go with a buddy and ensure that a leader is aware of their whereabouts.

All participants are expected to behave responsibly and respectfully at all times, in accordance with the Scouts Code of Conduct, the Scout Promise and Law, and relevant federal and state laws.

Responsibility for personal items is the sole responsibility of the participant and/or their parent/guardian. Under no circumstances will Leaders be responsible for safe keeping, loss or damage to items.

ACCOMMODATION & LOGISTICS

Camping or accommodation details
Tenting will be organised prior to depature. Expect hot days and cool nights. Always bring a rain jacket irrespective of the forecast. 

WITHDRAWAL & REFUND POLICY

Refund conditions
No refund for the catering if withdraw after October 14

Please advise the activity co-ordinator if you are unable to attend on the day, if you are aware of this before the event day, please withdraw from this event by using the withdraw feature.
